Medical Billing Specialist® Classes and final exam over a single weekend and leave
a Certified Medical Billing Specialist®.
You will not learn all there is to
know about medical billing in a single weekend, however you will receive a solid
foundation on which to build your billing and coding knowledge.
This class is intended for people
who are new to medical billing or need a basic refresher class - it is a billing
certification not a
coding certification program!

In order to sit for the CMBS examination you must be a current member of
the Medical Association of Billers. You can take the PowerWeekend as a
non-member for educational purposes and receive a Certificate of Completion.

If you possess the knowledge and would like to take the exam
only you may test out. The cost to test out is $199 for members.
You must be a member of the Medical Association of Billers to sit for the

What
is included in the CMBS program fee?
The CMBSTM Power Weekend includes
all class materials, the
CMBS Final Exam, your CMBS certification, and coffee breaks. Please
note lunch is on your own.
What
is the program fee?
The entire CMBS
PowerWeekend is only $450 for Association Members ($500 for non-Members).
You must be a member to sit for the Certified Medical Billing SpecialistTM
Exam. Non-members can take the PowerWeekend and receive a Certificate of
Completion.
You
save five months and $500 by taking the CMBS
PowerWeekend rather than taking
the individual classes on-line.

Enrollment
To enroll print out the
Seminar Application Form and mail, with your payment,
to: Medical Association of Billers, 2441 Tech Center Court,
Suite 111, Las
Vegas, NV 89128. Attendance is on a first come first serve basis, so reserve
early. Your seat is guaranteed once payment is received.
Class Size
There is a minimum class
size of 10 students per weekend. Classes are subject to cancellation due
to low enrollment. Las Vegas classes are never cancelled.
Class Times
Classes begin at 8:00 a.m. and will end at 5:00 p.m.
Dress
Wear layers of clothing to
maximize your comfort. Casual to business casual is appropriate.
Networking Opportunities
You will have ample opportunity
to touch base with provider's offices and billing centers from around the
country.
PowerWeekend Cancellation Policy
All cancellations must be made in
writing via mail, fax or e-mail to Medical Association of Billers. All
cancellations received less than 30 days prior to the seminar will receive a
refund minus a $100 administrative fee. The cost of materials will
be deducted from your refund unless they are returned in an unused condition.
On-Site Programs are available
MAB instructors are available to travel to your facility and create a
custom training for your employees. Minimum class size is 10 students
and volume discounts are available. Please contact our office for a
proposal.
